Yoga

Yoga originates from the Sanskrit work yuj – to unite and to bring together as a form of discipline our body, breath, mind and spirit.

Yoga practices including stretching, postures (asanas), strengthening, balancing, breathing (pranayama) which help us to develop greater self-awareness, focus and concentration which guides us on a path towards physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing.

Yoga is a personal practice and individual journey of self-discovery that can start on a yoga mat but the benefits continue to be realised off the yoga mat and in your day-to-day life. A regular practices can help with a reduction of stress, a calmer mind, a stronger and more balanced body and an overall improved feeling of wellness.

There are many styles of yoga to suit everyone from beginners to advanced headstanders, from dynamic flows to mediatative, just ask me about a class or style and I can help send you in the right direction.
